Tendon Problems

Achilles Tendonitis

The Achilles tendon runs from the calf muscle to the heel bone.

Tibialis Posterior Tendonitis

Tibialis posterior runs down the inside of the leg, behind the ankle bone and to the middle of the foot.

Peroneal Tendonitis

The peroneals run down the outside of the leg, behind the ankle and into each side of the foot.

Plantar Fasciitis

The plantar fascia, whilst technically a ligament, is treated like a tendon. Often it causes heel pain in the morning.

Flexor Hallucis Longus

The Flexor Hallucis Longus Tendon starts at the back of the fibula, runs behind the back of the ankle, and along the length of the foot.
